post party exhaustion
just a short note to say i’m back from our show in ghent, happy and exhausted. we had a wonderful party night, the most warm and uplifting atmosphere ever. veejaying for alpha and omega was an awesome experience, but the rest of the party was just as good. we were very relaxed, thanks to the positive vibe and to grischa who had prepared our sets very well late on friday night.
the events of the last night are already starting to feel a little unreal, probably due to the fact that we had only two hours sleep this morning, a tired car ride from ghent to brussels via brussels airport to drop off alpha and omega, then a pretty fruitless expedition to find something digestible in brussels midi train station and finally the train ride home to cologne. i’m still riding on that wave of happiness from last night, but i’m losing momentum now. i’ll sign off and head for a luxurious hot bath and at least ten hours sleep in my warm and comfortable bed. back tomorrow.
